I TRIED A DIAMONDGLOW FACIAL—HERE ARE MY HONEST THOUGHTS

Recently, I’ve decided to take care of my skin and tried lots of skincare treatments which promises me that my skin would become healthier, smoother, and clearer. Unfortunately, none of it works, and I continued to struggle with my skin problems. However, things changed when a colleague recommended that I try the DiamondGlow Facial.

This treatment will give your skin the radiance it wants after a three-month absence from in-office therapies, whether you’ve been devoted to a 10-step skincare program from home or have ignored your skin entirely on stay-at-home orders.

DiamondGlow Facial is a next-level resurfacing treatment that deeply cleans and rejuvenates the skin, unlike standard wet facial therapies that depend on chemical exfoliation to treat skin at the surface level. Aside from celebrity endorsements, this facial has a slew of other advantages, and as a recent user, I can attest that it is the holy grail of my skin.

WHAT IS A DIAMONDGLOW FACIAL?

When I walked into the room, I was introduced to my skin aesthetician and addressed my skin problems (I have acne concerns that had been bothering me for a long time.) My skin technician then explains that the DiamondGlow Facial is a three-in-one treatment that uses the device’s skin-resurfacing wand. It has an abrasive diamond tip made from actual crushed diamonds to conduct exfoliation, extractions, and serum infusion all at the same time.

What’s best about this treatment is it’s customizable and highly efficient. The SkinMedica serums are [injected] into your skin as it is exfoliated, and the high-powered suction cleans the skin’s surface [and pores] simultaneously. All of this occurs within a 30-minute time frame! Finally, everything of the gunk pulled from your skin during your visit is collected in a “trash container,” which the esthetician will show you afterward.

DiamondGlow comes with a variety of diamond tips that allow you to customize your treatment. To provide you the best results, each end is tailored to your skin and needs. Diamond Glow is an excellent treatment for the face, lips, eye region, and body.

THREE STEP-TREATMENT

The DiamondGlow treatment has three steps that are all done at the same time:

· Exfoliates-The diamond tip gently exfoliates dry, damaged skin.

· Extracts– The surface and pores are cleaned with high-powered suction.

· Infuses– skin is responsive to SkinMedica® Pro-Infusion Serums, which provide professional results.

Through these, my skin seems to be younger, brighter, and more radiant. My fine lines and wrinkles, dark spots, roughness and dryness, and dull and congested skin have improved. For a longer-lasting treatment effect, I established a personalized at-home skincare program.

IT’S COMPLETELY CUSTOMIZABLE

Before my therapy started, my skin aesthetician had to prep my face. In my case, I had my face under a cloud of steam to open up my clogged pores. Once my skin aesthetician has cleansed my face and wiped it clean, the next step is to turn on the DiamondGlow device. My skin aesthetician then selected two serums for the treatment.

There are four serums I can choose from:

  • Pore Clarifying serum (to address skin flaws and enhance clarity)

  • Brightening serum (to improve the look of uneven pigmentation)

  • Hydrating serum (to assist hydration)

  • Vitamin C serum.

WHAT IS IT LIKE TO GET A DIAMOND GLOW FACIAL?

After learning the different serums customized for every skin problem and their benefits, I was nervous if the treatment was going to hurt. Good thing, my skin aesthetician assured me that treatment is a thorough exfoliation that’s pretty painless.

As my skin aesthetician worked the DiamondGlow Facial wand over my chin and cheek area, I felt my skin’s surface was thoroughly cleaned by the high-powered suction. The treatment was also relaxing because of the unique diamond tip and the controlled pressure level from the wand’s tip.

CUSTOMIZED TIPS

One of the reasons why the treatment is so relaxing is because of the unique diamond tip. There are a total of six different tips the skin aesthetician can choose from. It ranges from a microfine grit for sensitive skin to a coarse grit for deeply abrade skin. The esthetician will choose the best one which suits the skin needs.

The unique diamond tips eliminate switching things out, allowing the treatment to run more smoothly. My aesthetician used a microfine grit since I have sensitive skin.

WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS I GOT FROM MY TREATMENT?

DiamondGlow does more than merely smooth your skin’s surface: after all four of my treatments, I had a radiant, smooth, and healthy-looking complexion. The results are immediate, and they last.

The SkinMedica Pro-Infusion serums not only function during the treatment, but they also offer long-term effects, such as reducing the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, and hyperpigmentation with ongoing usage. My set of DiamondGlow treatments turned out to be one of the most effective facials I’ve ever had.

WHY IS IT DIFFERENT FROM OTHER TREATMENTS?

There are a few more features that distinguish DiamondGlow from other facials. First, the method is the “four to six-count pulse,” which allows the skin to absorb all of the serum.

Another feature that distinguishes a Diamond Glow therapy is the inclusion of lymphatic drainage in the neck and eyes. Lymphatic drainage is a manual massage method that stimulates the lymphatic system to operate more efficiently by transporting lymph to lymph nodes throughout the body, mainly in the neck, armpits, and groin. The advantage of treating the neck is that wrinkles are less noticeable since the skin is moisturized and smooth.

WHO ARE QUALIFIED FOR THE DIAMOND GLOW TREATMENT?

This technique is appropriate for patients who want to minimize the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, scars, age spots, and acne problems with no downtime. Anyone with acne, sun damage, hyperpigmentation, dark spots, minor creases, dull skin, and big pores may benefit from it.

However, the treatment is not suited for those who have:

  • · Active acne flares

  • · Sensitive or rosacea skin types

  • · Susceptibility to cold sores

If you are experiencing the following cons, I would recommend you to look for other skincare treatments.

If you’re interested in getting a DiamondGlow Facial, it is recommended that you do a weekly facial or a series of skin correcting. I had the pleasure of experiencing the DiamondFacial at Everglow Medical Aesthetics. For sure, you’re also going to love your skin more after getting your DiamondGlow treatment from this clinic.
